ICC Announced: All teams are allowed to make changes to their squad until 25 May, after which any alteration will require approval from ICC’s Event Technical Committee.
Corey Anderson, a former player from New Zealand who reached the finals of the 2015 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, has joined the USA’s squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. The team, led by 31-year-old wicket-keeper batter Monank Patel, includes familiar faces and new talents who impressed during their 4-0 win against Canada in the recent T20I series.
Ali Khan, the fast bowler known for his speed, is now ready for the tournament after recovering from a hamstring injury. This boosts the team’s bowling strength. He’s 33 years old and has played in many leagues globally. You can even see him in the official T20 World Cup anthem video.
The squad includes well-known players like Saurabh Netravalkar, who holds the record for most appearances for the USA, along with Aaron Jones and Steven Taylor, who are known for their high scores in international cricket. Also, off-spinner Milind Kumar, who started his career in the series against Canada, has made it into the squad.
