West Indies, the co-host of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 with the USA, announced their 15-Member squad.

ICC Announced: All teams are allowed to make changes to their squad until 25 May, after which any alteration will require approval from ICC’s Event Technical Committee.
Shamar Joseph, who did well in his first Test matches against Australia earlier this year, is now set to play his first T20 International after being chosen for the T20 World Cup team. Shimron Hetmyer is back in action after skipping the T20 matches against Australia. He’s been playing well in the ongoing IPL with the Rajasthan Royals, scoring 83 runs in four innings at a fast pace, acting as the team’s closer.
Kyle Mayers wasn’t picked for Windies squad for Australia series, they chose a lower-order batter over him. Also, Oshane Thomas wasn’t included.
Johnson Charles, Brandon King, and Shai Hope likely to bat early. Windies have lots of big hitters and all-rounders for options.
Spin bowling by Akeal Hossain and Gudakesh Motie. Pace bowling led by vice-captain Joseph, with support from Joseph.
