The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 Super-8s stage matches are starting on Wednesday, June 19, and all the qualified teams will be divided into two groups of four.
From Group A, India qualified for the Super-8 matches after their third consecutive win in the group stage matches against the USA. Team Australia advanced to the Super-8 round with 6 points, securing the top position in Group B. South Africa from Group D confirmed its place in the Super-8 round with 6 points, and West Indies from Group C qualified after a superb win against New Zealand.

As the ICC pre-decided the top 8 teams’ seeding for the Super 8 round, the positions in their groups after the first round matches won’t affect it. However, if any team from the top 8 doesn’t qualify for the Super 8 round, the team with the most points or the better run rate will take the same seeding in the next round.
